Nishino has been sitting next to the most popular guy in her class, Minami Taiga. Nishino loves Minami, for the main reason that Nishino has always been ignored or made-fun of by her classmates except for Minami. One day, Minami notices the messages that Nishino has been writing on her left hand, which kindles a new connection between them.
I simply adored this story. Contrary to what Nishino believes I think compared to the other characters in the class she is very cute, with those glasses and that hairstyle if she were real I'd be all over her...she's the kinda cute that makes you wanna hug if you know what I mean.
The classmates were just plain rude, I can't see how Taiga remained good friends with people who would bully his beloved to the extent that she cannot even voice her true feelings for him. It was nice to see that he wasn't a clueless git as the male lead in most shōjo manga tends to be.
And boy was that Chalk Throwing Sensei the best XD. Especially the way he whips around. I kept waiting for him to flick one at Nishino...never happens though.
