When You Look Like an Angel

Chapters 1-6 are devoted to the title story.
When Yuka was a little girl she was hit by a car chasing a tennis ball onto the road. While she was still recovering she met a boy named Takaaki who told her that if she tried really hard playing tennis then God will grant her an angel’s wings.
10 years later, she’s in high school on the tennis team trying to make that dream come true and she meets him again. She ends pairing with him to train because no one will be her partner. After being invited to his house they learn that he was the one who’s ball caused her to have the accident from Yuka’s mother.
Takaaki thought that Yuka would hate him instead she tells him that “I will win the match and get my angel’s wings and then I will share one with you who have lost yous”

Side Story 1-Signal on the 5th Year
Sae used to be classmates with Naoki but she had to move. 5 years later she returns for a reunion with her old classmates and to see Naoki who she had missed greatly for the time that they had been apart. Naoki had been waiting 5 years to confess his feelings for her. He almost didn’t make it when Sae became confused because he had changed while she remained loving his past self. Why did she feel the same even thought Naoki had changed.

Side Story 2-The Young Striker
This story is little more dramatic than the rest but still pretty sweet. Its about a girl who fell in love with a classmate
